I believe how far we come long we should never forget our roots. I thought of posting this blog on world Ethnic day but couldn’t make it. Anyway better late than never so, here I am with my blog about a saree which is an Indian cultural tradition.
What do you think about a free floating chiffon or satin saree? Not your kind? When I was a teenager, I never opted for a lightweight chiffon sarees as I used to think they are hard to carry as well as it reveals more because of its see through type of material. But now I don’t mind trying them once in a while. I think chiffon sarees accentuates curves and they are so light as air. I will still agree that it is hard to carry them perfectly without falling a part and especially if the event you are attending is a very long one. As I always say, accessorize or style differently a common dress and it looks unique.
Don’t worry about perfectly draping a chiffon saree. When you style and accessorize with other things everything will look good. I styled two light weight sarees with boat neck blouse designs . I think boat neck or back open blouses are a good choice for see through material sarees .
In the blue and white saree which I got as a gift , I accessorized with white statement neck piece which is made of white beads, I am so hooked to this piece and I am styling most of my dresses with this. You can buy this on amazon here https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CIQ09JQ
For Cream and yellow floral saree, which I bought from Neerus India, I went with a neutral make up for a more monochromatic look but you can always opt for bold lip and eye make up for a more brighter look. Earrings from DaastanJwellery on Insatgram page.
